Emily has also worked in a variety of public relations and communications positions in her federal and non-profit career. She served a temporary assignment as the Public Information Officer on the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Washington, D.C. She has also served as the media point of contact for the Santa Claus Museum & Village, conducting interviews, drafting news releases, and handling inquiries for local, state, and national media outlets. In addition to her work with the media, Emily has designed and produced wayside exhibits, brochures, interpretive guides, and more at sites throughout the National Park Service and in Santa Claus, Indiana.
